Monogamish

[məˈnäɡ|ˈämiSH]

What is Monogamish?

Monogamish is a type of relationship that means both parties are committed to one another, but there is an understanding that each member of the relationship is able to engage in some level of outside sexual activity. This differs from polyamory in the sense that both members are monogamous to one another in every context of the relationship, besides sexual activity.

Example of Monogamish

Daniel reminded Sarah that he was in a monogamish relationship, so there wasn’t going to be any problems if they were to make out.
